Since May 2024 our crews have cleaned 6,179 appliances on 2,137 jobs in Ontario. The most cleaned are ovens, fridges and washing machines — 662 ovens so far.
79% of these were added to another clean, usually a move-out or deep clean, and 21% were appliance-only visits. Our appliance cleaning service clean every appliance inside and out: ovens degreased, fridges and freezers cleaned (emptied and fully defrosted first), washers descaled, hood filters degreased, microwaves wiped, cleaned and degreased.

Ontario appliance cleaning: what our job data shows
- Ovens were booked by name on 29% of Ontario appliance jobs and fridges on 17%; most other jobs listed their appliances together on one inside-and-out list.
- Washers and dryers were cleaned on 5% of jobs — about the same as across Canada (5%).
- Ontario customers booked 2.9 appliances a job on average (Canada: 3.0).
- 40% of jobs here came with a move-out clean; 21% were appliance-only visits.
Much of southern Ontario has moderately hard water, so washers, dishwashers and kettles build limescale — we descale as part of every clean.
BBQ season runs May to September here; spring BBQ cleans and pre-holiday oven cleans are our two seasonal peaks.

Do I need to empty the fridge and freezer?
Yes. The fridge and freezer must be emptied and the freezer fully defrosted before the crew arrives, so the inside can be cleaned properly. The microwave is wiped, cleaned and degreased.
What does an oven clean include?
Racks and trays, the glass door and the oven cavity are degreased; a double oven covers both cavities and a range cooker the full unit.
When should I book appliance cleaning in Ontario?
August is our busiest month here and Friday the busiest day, so book a few days ahead then.
How long does appliance cleaning take?
Usually one to two hours when added to another clean, depending on how many appliances and their condition.
