Appliance cleaning in Canada: what to expect
Since May 2024 our crews have cleaned 10,958 appliances on 3,663 jobs in Canada. The most cleaned are ovens, fridges and washing machines — 1,081 ovens so far.
82% of these were added to another clean, usually a move-out or deep clean, and 18% were appliance-only visits. Our professional appliance cleaners clean every appliance inside and out: ovens degreased, fridges and freezers cleaned (emptied and fully defrosted first), washers descaled, hood filters degreased, microwaves wiped, cleaned and degreased.
The appliance cleaning cost is fixed per appliance — see the prices below, with payment before or after service.
Appliance cleaning in Canada: who it is for
Most of our Canada bookings come from one of these four situations.
Ovens, range hoods and dishwashers degreased and descaled when they need more than a wipe.
Between guests or tenants, appliances cleaned inside and out at a fixed price per appliance.
Ovens and fridges are the first things a landlord checks; add them to your move-out clean in Canada.
Appliances that stay with the house are part of the sale — clean ones photograph and show better.

How we clean each appliance in Canada
The items we clean most in Canada, with exactly what is included, the price and the time each one takes.
Ovens & ranges
Most booked- Racks and trays removed and soaked in degreaser
- Knobs, handle and front polished
- Cavity, door glass (inside the panes where accessible) and seals degreased
Pro tip Remove anything stored in the oven drawer before we arrive — the drawer is cleaned too.
Fridges & freezers
Most booked- Shelves and drawers removed and washed
- Seals, door bins and drip tray cleaned
- Outside and handles wiped and polished
Pro tip Empty it and defrost the freezer the night before, with a towel on the floor — the clean starts as soon as we arrive.
Washing machines
- Door gasket folds cleaned of mould and lint
- Detergent drawer removed and descaled
- Drum sanitized and the filter cleared where accessible
Pro tip Run a hot empty wash with a cup of white vinegar monthly to keep the drum fresh between cleans.
Range hoods
- Grease filters soaked and degreased
- Hood canopy and fan housing degreased
- Light covers and controls wiped
Pro tip A clogged filter makes the fan work harder and drip grease; every three months is a good cleaning rhythm.
Dishwashers
- Filter removed and cleaned
- Spray arms cleared
- Door seals and interior descaled
Pro tip Check the filter monthly — most dishwasher smells start there.
Microwaves
- Steamed to loosen splatter
- Inside wiped, cleaned and degreased
- Turntable washed, outside polished
Pro tip Never run a microwave empty to "dry" it after cleaning; we wipe it dry by hand.
Stovetops & cooktops
- Grates and burner caps degreased
- Glass or enamel top cleaned with a non-scratch scraper
- Knobs removed and cleaned
Pro tip Use a cooktop scraper, not steel wool, on glass tops — scratches hold grease and burn on.
